Q: Can I try the service before I purchase it? Q: I am currently using a Webspiration® Public Beta account. Can I use the same email address to try out the WebspirationPRO 30-day trial subscription? A: WebspirationPRO allows a given email address to be associated with only one account. To change an email address already in use with another Webspiration account, log in to that account and click My Account Settings on the Starter screen (the screen you see when you first launch the application), and make your changes in the email field.
Q: I have a new WebspirationPRO account and want to access the documents I created in a preexisting Webspiration® Public Beta orWebspiration Classroom™ account. How can I do that? A: If you have a preexisting Webspiration Public Beta or a personal or trial Webspiration Classroom account, you can click the Move Documents from Another Account button in My Account Settings to move documents to the new account and remove them from the old account. Alternatively, you can log into your old account and use the Collaboration Panel to invite your new account to collaborate on selected documents, then you can change the Owner of the shared documents to your new account by using Manage Sharing.
Q: Does WebspirationPRO support the iPad? A: WebspirationPRO is a Flash-based application and the iPad doesn’t support Flash. We are in the process of designing a great Webspiration iPad app, optimized for the touch-interface of Apple's iPad. Stay tuned.
Q: How is WebspirationPRO different from Webspiration Classroom? A: WebspirationPRO is intended for business professional and college use, while Webspiration Classroom is intended for educators and students in K-12 school environments.
Webspiration Classroom includes student resources and teacher resources to support teaching and using visual thinking in the classroom. The Webspiration Classroom service also includes administrative utilities that allow schools to configure and control student access and use.
WebspirationPRO gives users full and unlimited access to their accounts and doesn’t put any restrictions on collaboration and sharing. WebspirationPRO includes resources for business professionals and college students using visual thinking and outlining techniques to improve creative and strategic thinking, map processes and information, study, organize and write.
Q: How is WebspirationPRO different from Inspiration®? A: Though Inspiration for the desktop and WebspirationPRO share some similar tools and functionality, they are two different products. However, if you are working in WebspirationPRO, you can upload to or download from Inspiration.
Q: Will my documents be secure and private? A: Yes. Access to the WebspirationPRO server is strictly controlled via firewall. Your documents will remain private unless you invite collaborators and/or reviewers. Robots and spiders can't get to your documents, so they won't appear in any search index.
Q: How long can I keep my documents? A: Your documents are available as long as you have a current WebspirationPRO account.
Q: How many people can share a document? A: There is no limit to the number of people that can share a document.
Q: How does same-time collaboration work? A: When multiple users are working on the same document, WebspirationPRO automatically switches them between active and inactive states, so that their edits do not conflict.
Q: How many people can collaborate on a single document at the same time? A: There is no technical limit to the number of collaborators that you can have on a single document at the same time although changes to the document and comments may become more difficult to manage with a large number of collaborators. The product is not designed to be a large-scale group collaboration tool. It is designed for small groups co-collaborating on work.
Q: How do I subscribe to WebspirationPRO? Q: How do I get the latest versions of WebspirationPRO? A: WebspirationPRO is automatically updated to the latest version when you log in.
