Kidspiration® on an interactive whiteboard inspires media specialist's return to the classroom |
| Formerly a media specialist for Clairemont Elementary School in Decatur, Ga, Heather Borowski returned to the classroom as a kindergarten teacher to take advantage of all the learning opportunities that visual learning on an interactive whiteboard offers. Her kindergarten students use Kidspiration® for a variety of learning activities across the curriculum, including sorting and categorizing using Kidspiration's SuperGrouper® shapes, and drawing their own symbols with the Symbol Maker for use in graphic organizers. |  | "The tactile, kinesthetic nature of Kidspiration, where students get to physically move things around on the screen and associate actions with results, is great for all students at this age." says Borowski.

Announcing 2007 Inspired Teacher Scholarship program |
Calling all inspired educators! Are you are a champion of visual learning in your classroom, school or district? Or, are you new to the area of visual learning and technology, but ready to learn more? Inspiration Software® offer scholarships for both the veteran and the rookie. This year, in addition to the Inspired Teacher and Rookie categories, educators can enter the new Best Projects category for outstanding projects in Inspiration®, InspireData™ and Kidspiration. Thirty scholarships in the amount of $750 each will be awarded to selected recipients.

To help educators meet standards in teaching, Inspiration Software has created standards matches to highlight meaningful ways in which the new InspireData supports state standards in science, mathematics and social studies. Educators can download the standards matches and navigate using the embedded bookmarks to areas where InspireData meets the state's specific standards.
