This Kidspiration exemplar activity was shared during the May 14th webcast titled "Keep Them Learning Till the Final Bell." Emergent writers use pictures and a few words to describe how to do something, such as be a good friend. The activity can easily be changed to creatively write other directions, e.g. how to be a good helper, how to have good recesses. The activity ready for student use can be located by selecting Reading/Writing from the Kidspiration 3 Starter Screen and selecting "Writing Directions."
