Students in Silver Star winner Sabine Fleshner’s German classes at Millard Public School, Omaha, Neb., organize vocabulary, learn grammar concepts, build family trees, develop German reading comprehension and even take notes in German with Inspiration. Students are highly engaged in graphically organizing the story by using a variety of pictures and/or symbols, consequently they developed a better understanding of the story. Also, through the visualization of important vocabulary and expressions, they mastered and retained knowledge more effectively.
