Silver Star winner, Michael Eppolito describes himself as a “champion” of Inspiration and Kidspiration in his school and district, supporting their integration across the curriculum as well as by educators for planning tool. Eppolito asked his students to use Inspiration to map the system of checks and balances. Students show how each branch in the federal government has its own specific powers and how those powers are checked by the other branches. The outcome is a map that clearly shows the relationship each branch of government has with the others.
