10 New Ideas Using Inspiration for Social Studies, History and Government

Here are ten great ideas for using Inspiration in the classroom submitted by teachers who attended an Inspiration webcast a few weeks ago.

1. Create a family tree. Insert family member photographs.
2. Compare different speeches from presidents, past and present. Insert or link to videos and/or audio clips from the web to hear the actual speeches.
3. Study the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
4. Create a timeline in world history.
5. Show causes of the American Revolution, Civil War or any conflict.
6. Research and then develop a travel brochure about a country. Export as a Site Skeleton to create an accompanying web site structure.
7. Organize information about your state or town.
8. Create a visual representation of the process of how a bill becomes a law.
9. Show the powers of government branches
10. Compare and contrast the state of today's economy with that of the Great Depression.
