Teacher Kenneth Shelton’s - 2008 Inspired Teacher Scholarship winner - students at Walter Reed Middle School in Studio City, Calif., learned the critical elements of story development and built writing skills by using Inspiration to create a “Choose your ending” story web, a visual flow chart that allows the reader to take different paths and come to alternate endings. Shelton will use his scholarship funds to upgrade his school’s licenses to Inspiration 8 and InspireData 1.5, as well as to attend NECC.
