Students use the Kidspiration "I Can Make a Change Jar" template and the following Web site to think about the role practicing compassion has on making the world a better place. http://www.k12.hi.us/~mkunimit/compassion.htm. This attachment is a sample of completed work. The students should write their own definitions of Compassion and fill the jar with coins and examples of things they can do to show compassion. The Web site offers many ideas for the coin jar. To complete the project, students add up their money and list the total on the tag. Enjoy!
