This activity can be used at a variety of levels to create a nice Mother’s Day gift. The frame in the middle should hold a picture of Mom, as drawn by the kid using the draw symbol tool. Kindergarten kids can simply replace the oval with pictures. Beginning Writers can add a few words to each symbol.More Advanced Writers can go to the writing mode and develop complete sentences, including a topic sentence. Click on the publish tool to send the document to Word or AppleWorks. The paragraph can be formatted into a wonderful piece of writing for mom which includes the picture.
