Using the book, "Why I Sneeze, Shiver, Hiccup and Yawn" from Harper Collins Publishers students look at the cover as a class and make a prediction about the book and about each specific body reaction. Then as the book is read, each student creates a list of words they hear that describe the body. Once completed the lists are compiled under each body reaction and discussed as a group. This Kidspiration activity is appropriate for K-2. This activity addresses the National Science standard: Understands the nature of scientific inquiry.
