On this template the top box has a sound attached. Simply click on the speaker icon, and make sure your volume is turned up to hear the Old McVowel song. Students find symbols that have short vowel sounds and drag them into the boxes. You can also show your students how to record themselves saying each symbol.

The original version of this activity has a recording of the short vowel sound for each SuperGrouper box, but I could not get it to upload. You can do this is you wish and resave the template.
