Description :

This Kidspiration activity asks students to build figures with line symmetry and record the number of lines of symmetry for each figure. The level of difficulty can be altered by requiring that students use specific shapes or a specified number of shapes. Teachers can also specify the number of lines of symmetry that each figure must contain. As an extension, students can print off their completed activities and verify lines of symmetry by folding. Included is a starter template for students and a completed example.
