Description :

We ran our whole presidential mock election using Inspire Data. I set up "polling Places " using computer terminals and every child from grade K-8 had an opportunity to come to the polling place and cast their vote on an e survey. The 8th grade was able to analyze the results in about 15 minutes at the end of the day and announce the winner of our election. It was terrific and the kids really got into the election process this way. Prior to election day the classes used internet resource and Inspiration to compare the major candidates. On election day we cast our votes with the esurvey and then after the election many classes used the data to work on their data analysis skills.
