In this InspireData lesson students will collect data on the life functions of 10 or more objects and then, based on their results, decide if each object is 'living' or 'nonliving'. Students will then create plots to analyze their data and answer the questions. The Completed Example file includes a sample table and slides with answers to the questions. This lesson could be used from 4-8 grades depending on the complexity of items categorized.
