The files here are from a Fiber Arts Dye project completed with 8th grade students. Students were taught the dye process by giving them the basics and then having them do research to give a more complete picture of the process. Inspiration was used for the information gathering and organizing process as well as for communicating steps in assignments. Students then had to come up with ways to experiment with the process to see how altering the formula would effect the results. The data collected from their experiments was collected and examined by using InspireData. The Fiber Arts Dye Project.doc gives a complete overview of the steps completed during the project and the thinking process students went through.
