A preprepared database of cars is included to be searched in various ways to identify suspects for the crimes. Suggestions for adapting the task and changing the database (includes using the e-survey tool) are included. For those who have Inspire Data but not Inspiration, the clues in Inspiration have been exported to rich text format for use in a word processor. NB car registration details are in a UK format but that should not prevent the task being meaningful to those in other countries.
