Happy June, Thinkspiration readers!
Summer is finally here, and that means a big shift in roles for everyone involved in education. Teachers go from full classroom management to professional development, parents masterfully shift their schedules, and most importantly students head out to meet the world on their own time!
Thus as we reach the close of the school year, it’s important to us at Inspiration to reflect on where we’ve been. Together we’ve explored the Common Core through clear writing, close reading and effective speaking. We forged new, iPad-rich ways to keep kids entertained on vacation through Winter Break Brainpower. And your favorite post of the year? A simple yet effective Vocabulary Word Mind Map.
So how can teachers use Inspiration products effectively in these waning days of school? Since kids love to talk about themselves, why not have them illustrate their summer plans?

As for the Inspiration crew, we’re pretty busy around here–because coming up soon, we’ve got some big news to share! We’re keeping things pretty well under wraps for now, but what we can say is that this new development will broaden our ability to help learners of all ages succeed. We’re excited about it and hope you will be too!
