Webspiration Classroom™ service is a great tool for taking notes. Students can quickly jot down ideas during a class lecture, while reading a book, when researching for a paper or more. Taking notes in Webspiration Classroom can help students remember key points and help keep you organized.

When to Take Notes in Webspiration Classroom
Your students can open Webspiration Classroom to take notes when they’re doing any of the following activities:
- Listening to a class lecture
- Reading a textbook or novel
- Researching for a paper or project
- Studying for a test
- Planning a project
How to Take Notes in Webspiration Classroom
In order to begin taking notes in Webspiration Classroom, ask your students to follow these quick and easy steps:
- Go to www.webspirationclassroom.com and log in to Webspiration Classroom with their Org ID, username and password.
- From the Starter Screen, create a new Diagram to begin taking notes.
- TIP: You can also open the “Summary” or “Research Paper” templates to get started with a particular classroom project. For more information on how to get started with these templates, go to the Study Tips under Student Resources in the Resource Center.
- Type your central or main idea into the symbol.
- Use Create on the Main toolbar to add idea symbols then type in your main points or ideas.
- Use RapidFire® on the Main toolbar to add sub-points off of another idea.
- Once you have a number of key points added, stop and review your notes diagram. Rearrange the symbols by dragging them. Add symbols and links to group ideas into common themes or related materials.
- TIP: Add pictures, symbol shapes and color to your diagram to stimulate recall and see patterns.
