Can you envision a classroom in ten years or picture the future of students’ learning and homework? Presently, technology has expanded the reach of education and begun redefining the classroom experience while reshaping the way students today do their homework. Before, a teacher’s impact was only between the hours of a school day. Students needed to be present in a class to receive a full education. And homework was defined by printed handouts and worksheets. At Inspiration Software, we have a vision that will further evolve the traditional ideas of the classroom, the teacher-student work flow and the experience of learning anytime and anywhere. This vision is Webspiration Classroom™ service.

The Web Extends Your Reach
The web has placed global and collective information at the world’s fingertips. Endless answers are just a few clicks away. Yet, the struggle today is no longer to find access to data, but rather to think critically about what is read to distinguish the difference between information and knowledge. New knowledge creation tools such as Google Docs and Webspiration Classroom bring your desktop knowledge creation tools to life on any computer. The availability of these tools and your work, anywhere and anytime, can extend your teachable moments and your students’ learning well beyond the classroom.
Our cloud computing tool Webspiration Classroom will allow you to continue your teaching and your students’ learning – if you wish – long after the school bell rings. Teachers can distribute and post assignments. Conversely, students can complete and turn in assignments online, which reduces the amount of time devoted to homework during class. Teachers can provide feedback on assignments and help students struggling with work conveniently outside of school hours. The concept that teachers and resources are available outside the classroom for students’ learning is one aspect that is redefining teaching and learning today.
Cloud Computing Redefines Classroom and Homework
The classroom of our new Webspiration Classroom service is on the web. This means that anywhere students have computers and access to the Internet, they can work on class assignments and expand their learning. Students and teachers can now stay tuned in with assignments and projects even when they cannot physically be in a classroom.
- No time is lost.
This means that lessons are not lost over sick days, vacation, snow days or any other reasons that an absence may occur. Students can log in to check what was missed or even continue the lesson, research or assignments at home without the worry that they have left anything in their locker or desk. - Homework is now a collaborative extension of in-class assignments.
Anything that is unfinished in class doesn’t need to be transferred from computer to computer or printed for later reference. Instead, students can log on to continue right where they left off. Students can even continue to conduct group projects and collaborate from each of their homes. - The dog won’t eat your Webspiration Classroom Assignments.
Your students won’t have to worry about carrying their assignments back and forth from school and home – and neither will you! Everything you need will be located in your account and accessed through the Document Manager, allowing you to access all of the assignments throughout the year in a simple, online space. - Teachers can collaborate on lesson plans and create best-practice results.
Teachers can contribute to one document to co-develop, test and refine lessons in the classroom in order to develop lessons with best-practice results. These documents can then be posted to the school’s templates in the Document Manager in Webspiration Classroom, allowing teachers and students access and use within your school. - It’s a classroom without borders.
Teachers can join up with sister schools across the country or even globe to interact and share documents in Webspiration Classroom. This means that students’ cultural education can stem from real interaction and idea sharing with students in different parts of the world.
