If you are a Kidspiration user, you will still be able to read your files and use your previously created templates and symbol libraries with Kidspiration 3. One of the many great features of Kidspiration 3 is that you can save your Kidspiration 3 files as Kidspiration 2 files, for exchanging with others who haven't yet upgraded.

More than likely, your question has already been answered in our Frequently Asked Questions section (below.) Please read through the FAQ before contacting support. All technical support is provided via email. If you don't find what you need on this page, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: I would like to buy - or get a quote for - new or additional software licenses. What do I do?
A: Great! Please click on the BUY NOW button at the top of our website and then click the link in the table cell that matches the product / license type combination you're looking for.
Q: How do I find out how many licenses my school / district owns?
A: Email email@example.com. In your email, include the full name of your school or district and the state it's located in.
Q: I would like to learn more about Kidspiration and how it can help my students or my child.
Q: I can't find my activation code or serial number. How do I retrieve it?
A: If your school or district purchased a volume or site license, your serial number will be on the license agreement. If you purchased a single boxed copy, your serial number is on a sticker inside the DVD box or paper sleeve the CD came in. If you purchased an electronic download, your activation code is located in the email you received at the time of purchase - search for an email from either firstname.lastname@example.org (the activation code is called a "product key" in the email) OR from email@example.com if you purchased before September of 2015.
If you are unable to locate your serial number or activation code, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with proof of purchase and we will provide you with a code.
Q: I'm trying to open Kidspiration, but the system is asking for an activation code or serial number. What do I do?
A: See the answer to the question above.
Q: I see the error message "There is not enough free disk space on your system volume to run Kidspiration," but my Mac's hard drive has plenty of space available.
A: We apologize for the inconvenience. The Kidspiration version you are using incorrectly reads the hard drive size. Please email email@example.com to request the workaround. Include your serial number or authorization code in your email.
Q: I just finished installing and registering on my Windows XP computer and all I see is a blue screen.
A: Click on the Taskbar button, or press Alt-Tab, to bring the Starter dialog to the front.
Q: I can't switch to another view from math view.
A: That's as designed, because Math View has a toolset and purpose quite different from the other views.
Q: I can't save a document with a math view to Kidspiration 2 format.
A: Because Math View is brand new, the earlier versions of Kidspiration can't interpret it, so saving it to an earlier version's format is not allowed.
Q: What happened to the Voice Menu option?
A: To keep things simple, Kidspiration now uses standard voices - no need for set up.
Q: Is there a way to add fonts to Kidspiration 3?
A: No, but the font set is now better defined, so there should be a choice that will work for most educational purposes.
Q: Can I open an Inspiration 8 document in Kidspiration 3?
A: No, but documents created with Kidspiration 2 will open successfully.
Q: Is Kidspiration 3 supported on the Apple operating system called "Leopard"?
A: Yes, but there are a few minor issues to be aware of. Kidspiration file previews are not displayed when using Apple's new Quick Look feature, and you'll need to use the search feature within Kidspiration help rather that searching by keyword or directly from the help menu.
