Donald Helfgott
CEO and Co-founder
Donald Helfgott is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Inspiration Software, Inc. He is passionate about developing software tools that helps students think and more efficiently interact with computers and technology. He has more than 30 years of experience leading the creation and development of commercial software products, and as Chief Technology Officer, directly oversees product research and implementation and leads the company's strategic direction.
Helfgott majored in mathematics at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. In 2007, he received a Degree of Doctor of Laws (LL.D) Honoris Causa from the Oregon-based National College of Natural Medicine.
Mona Westhaver
President and Co-founder
Mona Westhaver is the President and Co-Founder of Inspiration Software, Inc. She is passionate about helping students of all ages excel by learning how to think, read, write and study more effectively. She is a long-time advocate for both children and technology. Westhaver served for many years on the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) Education Division board, the Software Association of Oregon (SAO) board and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon and Southwest Washington board. In addition, she also served on the board of Thomas Edison High School, a private school dedicated to students with learning disabilities.
Prior to Inspiration Software, Inc., Westhaver held a senior management position at ADP Dealer Services, a Fortune 100 company. She holds a Master of Science degree in whole systems design with an emphasis in organizational develoment from Antioch University in Seattle, Washington. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in interdisciplinary studies, with a focus in management and communications.
Richard Stone
Vice President of Operations
Richard Stone is the Vice President of Operations for Inspiration Software, Inc. He has more than 18 years of experience working the software industry and enjoys the constantly changing environment and progressing technology. Stone's primary focus at Inspiration Software includes IT, technical support, order processing, customer service managing the facilities.
Stone previously worked as a Quality Assurance Lead at accounting software companies including, Hyperion Software, Platinum Software, and Timberline Software. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a Masters Degree in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
